I’m part of a wonderful “conference” that’s happening here in Joshua Tree, June 15th-17th. I put quote marks around “conference” because that word generally conjures up images of something that you should attend because it might be useful or good for you, even if it’s a bit dull and hectic and the surroundings are drab. Yawn. This “conference” will be useful and good for you, AND interesting and soulful and fun and relaxing. The central idea is pretty radical and atypical for a “conference,” that like-minded people gather in a beautiful place to relax and recharge while sharing some valuable, beautiful tools for giving from the heart all the time. Intensive workshops are offered Sunday afternoon in addition to the main gathering and yes, I am offering one on the healing power of story. The workshop involves storytelling, journal work and other experiments, and an opportunity for more intimate conversation with others and with me.
